TWO THIRDS OF HOMES UP IN VALUE

The average cost of a UK home went up by £19 a day in the 12 months to June, an annual increase of £7,000, says Zoopla.

According to the property portal, analysis shows that the value of UK housing remains healthier than many may have anticipated.

2 out of every 3 homeowners saw the price of their home increase by at least 1%, but when looking at the last six months of the year, this slows to 1 in 3.
